Photo report from the debate: Oh! AI. To be afraid or to tame?

This year’s October will surely be remembered by book lovers for a long time due to the awarding of the Nobel Prize for Literature to Olga Tokarczuk.

But October is always a very busy month in the book industry! The largest book fair in the world – Frakfurter Buchmesse (more> HERE), the largest book fair in Poland – the International Book Fair in Krakow, the Conrad Festival, the Małopolska Forum of Libraries, and the awarding of important literary awards.

And for us, it was a busy mission, and one of the main events was a debate organized jointly with the UKSW and the Book Institute, under the patronage of the Simpact Fund, the main topic of which was the change brought about by the increasingly stronger entry of artificial intelligence technology into the book market.

The group of experts included: Adam Sobczak – co-founder of siepomaga.pl and cenatorium.pl, Krzysztof Koehler – deputy director of the Book Institute, Beata Gutowska – head of Publio.pl, Rafał Kosik – author of SF books, Vladimir Alekseichenko – data scientist, Dr. Miłosz Brakoniecki – creator of Obserwatorium.biz, Dr. Krzysztof Sopyła – CIO Literacka Sp. z o. o

The debate took place on October 25, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Lwów hall during the 23. International Book Fair in Krakow! Below we present a short photo report, and soon we will supplement it with a video from the meeting.
