Book Marketing Conference

This year, it will be accompanying the Poznań Book Fair (March 6-7, 2020) for the first time Book Marketing – a series of trainings and lectures for publishers, booksellers, librarians, employees of promotion departments, but also for authors who want to take care of a personal brand and visibility of their works, bloggers and all those who focus their interest on the book! This is a great opportunity to raise your competences in the field of book promotion and sale, publishing marketing or advertising literary events.

The Book Marketing conference is a two-day event during which leading PR and marketing specialists, writers and scientists will focus on the needs and opportunities of the book market and share their knowledge about book promotion and the condition of readers in the era of social media and big data. He will talk about his experiences during the panel, among others Katarzyna Bonda – the most popular author of crime novels in Poland. Among the speakers is also Paweł Tkaczyk – an expert in brand building, who cooperated with HBO, Sony and Orange. The Book Marketing conference is an event dedicated to publishers, booksellers, librarians, employees of promotion departments, but also authors, self-publishers and influencers. It is a space for the exchange of knowledge, views and experiences between representatives of the world of books.

Publishing marketing and promotion of the book market from A to Z
The Book Marketing conference speakers include both writers and experts in the field of marketing, sales and image building.

How to build a community around a publishing house and cultural institution? How to seduce the reader? How to reach the media, bloggers and influencers? What to do to increase sales? These are just some of the questions that will be answered by, among others Paweł Tkaczyk, Artur Kurasiński, Wojciech Kardyś, Tomasz Palak, Maciej Raczak and many others. Among the guests there will also be Katarzyna Bonda, the most popular Polish author of crime novels, who will tell how she sees cooperation with publishers and what she pays attention to when choosing a publisher; he will also advise you on what to do to achieve publishing success.

During the conference, you will learn how to use the power of the Internet and social media in your daily work. Experts will help increase brand or title recognition. They will also discover the secrets, trends, strategies and the latest methods of promotion.

In addition to the training part, the organizers have prepared accompanying events. Pogotowie Marketingowe, planned on time, is a quick consultation zone available to every conference participant who would like to take advantage of express individual advice on internet marketing. In addition, the organizers are preparing a special VIP zone for writers, publishers, media representatives, bloggers – this is where you can talk behind the scenes in an atmospheric environment, make new friends or discuss inspiring ideas!

The conference will be held during the Poznań Book Fair 2020: it will start on March 6 (Friday) and will last until March 7 (Saturday). We invite you to the lectures in the GH room, and to the workshops in the CD room on the first floor of pavilion 7 at the Poznań International Fair.
