Book Targ Branżowy / 3rd edition – PROGRAM

On May 10-12, 2021 , the third edition of the Book of the Industry Market will be held – the largest online event organized for publishers, booksellers, librarians and all people professionally associated with the book market. A dozen or so lectures, presentations, discussions and workshops are ahead of us, including a special part dedicated to libraries called Conference Library 5.0 .

During the prepared webinars and panels focused on the situation on the book market, experts will tell, among others about modern technologies on the book market, about methods of obtaining financial resources, about promoting reading or about the importance of data analysis in the daily functioning of publishing houses and libraries.

Literacka Technologie invites you to a special webinar for publishers presenting the BookScout.ai application. The lecture entitled “Help your nose to feel a good book, or how to leave some of the publisher’s work on the shoulders of modern technologies” will be conducted by Elżbieta Sobczak and Małgorzata Sieniewicz. It will take place on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 11.00-11.45. More information on Facebook .

What is BookScout? This is a Polish application created with the challenges of the publishing industry in mind. It uses artificial intelligence algorithms in the analysis of the content of books and big data in order to adjust the publishing proposal to the publisher’s profile and to estimate the market potential of the publication. Bookscout.ai saves publishers ‘time browsing through authors’ emails or searching for new titles to release. Thanks to BookScout.ai, texts can be received, viewed and evaluated individually or in a team from anywhere in the world.
